Circa late 1920s and possibly a Poiret Pouch. Excellent antique condition-chain strap shows minor buildup, frame shows minor wear, and there are a couple of tiny breaks in the ultra fine mesh but I can’t stress enough that this doesn’t affect the structural integrity of this bag and overall it looks fantastic for its age and is incredibly well-made. Ultra fine Dresden mesh is done in watercolor-style flowers in pink, yellow, and green over silvery black. Geometric stepped upper snaps closed securely and opens via upward flip of Kiss toggle component. Strap drop is 5.5”. Bag portion measures 5” L x 4” W and bottom mesh can fan out up to 6". Weight is 3.8oz.
